I like to cook but I never used a cooking thermometer before. I always thought that I knew when the meat is done just by slicing a small piece of the meat with a knife and trying it. It usually worked fine but using the Chef Remi’s Meat Thermometer made cooking meat much easier.
I absolutely love that I don’t have to second guess if the meat is cooked or not. If the temperature displayed is lower that I need the meat goes back into the oven. No more pocking meat with fork or knife. I like that the numbers on the LCD Display are big enough and easy to read. The metal probe is long enough that I can use the thermometer on a thick piece of meat and not burn my fingers while using it.
The thermometer is very well made and comes with a storage case. It is easy to store in the kitchen drawer and also keeps the gadget clean and safe.
I also like that thermometer shuts off if left unused. It definitely makes the battery last longer.
It is also comes handy that the temperature can be displays both in Celsius and Fahrenheit. I’m giving this thermometer as a gift to my friend who is originally from Eastern Europe and is used to Celsius measurements.
I actually think that the Chef’s Remi Cooking Thermometer would make a great gift for someone who just starting to learn how to cook as well as an experienced cook who appreciates well-made and reliable kitchen tools. I received this product to try at discount in exchange for my honest opinion.
